Q: Where is your factory located?

A: Our factory is located in the Prachuap Khiri Khan province located in southern Thailand.

Q: How many years of experience does your company have with producing coconut oil?

A: 15 years.

Q: What is the average age of your factory employees?

A: As an average, approximately 35 years old.

Q: What is the demographic of your factory employees? % of men, % of women?

A: About half men, half women.

Q: Where are your factory employees from? From local communities?

A: Yes, from local communities in the factory's district.

Q: How many hours do they work in the day?

A: 8 hours per day (as by law), with 1 hour lunch break plus 2 small breaks of 10 minutes.

Q: Do they have weekends off?

A: The staff work 6 days per week as by law, from Monday to Saturday.

Q: Do they receive holiday leave?

A: Yes, they have holiday leave and sick leave, all following Thai law.

Q: Do they have worker insurance?

A: They have social security and a paid annual health check.

Q: What is the main local economy in the area where your coconuts are picked? Is this the main economy and are we supporting them by creating this product?

A: In the area where the coconuts are picked, coconut farming is the main economy, together with palm farming and palm oil manufacturing. The chosen farms are in  South of Thailand, which is very suitable for high quality raw material, that also guarantees high quantity in lauric acid in the fruit. Thanks to our production volume, of course our activity has an impact on coconut farming in the region, especially Organic coconut plantations.

Q: Are you able to share about the company's overall policy on the workers' environment?

A: The spirit of the working environment is supportive, and everyone is treated fairly and equally. All employees receive a salary over the minimum wages. No forced or child labor is used and safety and health standards are met. 

Great relationships are maintained with the community around the facility as well, by respecting the environment and treating the production's waste in an organic way.
